Program Aide Position Employee: Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $12.01 - $15.86 per hour

Supervisors: PAS Director

Position Objective The Program Aide will be responsible for managing front office operations, greeting and referring community members to the appropriate team member and provide exceptional customer service by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of LINC’s programs as well as team members within the organization. The Program Aide will contribute to a positive working environment by providing meticulous attention to detail, a readiness to help others (in and outside of the office), and a willingness to do what needs to be done. The Program Aide will have a strong commitment to LINC’s mission and values. Responsibilities Clerical Duties • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate team member • Receives, sorts, and routes mail • Takes payments for services • Maintains fax machines, assists users, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes • Performs other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating • Answers phones, maintain office files in good working order, and organize office supplies • Receive, review and disseminate Personal Assistant timesheets and send them to the Boise office • Assist Personal Assistants with Pay Entry questions and access • Make all reminder calls for training, orientation and LINC home site visits • Create and maintain efficient and accurate Personal Assistant files and electronic files in accordance with LINC policy and program procedures • Attention to data accuracy • Compile and update all Personal Assistant lists and registries • Compile red binders for PAS Specialists • Provide timely feedback to the PAS Specialist regarding progress notes and other concerns in a courteous and professional manner • Contribute and help to maintain a clean office environment Customer Service • Create an environment where team members can contribute their best work through providing a positive, helpful, and courteous experience in all interactions with LINC • Help promote a positive relationship between community members and LINC team members • Demonstrate quality customer service while addressing participant inquires over the phone and in person • Direct community member inquiries and questions to the appropriate team member in a timely, accurate, and considerate manner according to LINC policy and program procedures • Work closely with all LINC team members to provide a quality participant experience across programs Other Duties • Have good knowledge of all LINC programs and services to provide information and referral services • Maintain a positive and open dialogue with team members and Supervisors • Must have a working knowledge of computers and computer programs as job duties require • Have good knowledge of Health and Welfare appropriate policies, such as Adult Protection and Mental Health Guidelines • All other duties as assigned by supervisors Position Success Factors • Exhibit enthusiastic and sincere commitment to professionalism • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with grace and goodwill • Curiosity and interest in empowering the lives of people with disabilities • Delight in helping others • Ability to thrive in a diverse environment and meet deadlines • Easy to work with, knowledgeable, and helpful • High integrity • Responsiveness and follow through • Ability to work well with a broad range of people • Dynamic interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with multiple team members • Ability to preserve classified nature of information • Solid independent judgment and motivation
