Personal Assistance Services Referral Coordinator and Program Educator

PAS Referral Coordinator/Program Educator

 

                                                             

Hours: 40 hours per week                                        Pay Range: $14.42 - $18.27

Supervisors: PAS Director

 

Position Objective

The Referral Coordinator/Program Educator will be PAS program expert providing information regarding the PAS program as a whole and the trainer for new Personal Assistants to LINC.  The Referral Coordinator/Program Educator manages incoming inquires for LINC PAS program, new participants paperwork and provides education and training to all new Personal Assistants.  The Referral Coordinator/Program Educator will contribute to a positive working environment by providing meticulous attention to detail, a readiness to help others (in and outside of the office), and a willingness to do what needs to be done. The Referral Coordinator/Program Educator will have a strong commitment to LINC’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

 

Referral Coordinator: 

·         Manage ‘LINC’ PAS email Inbox Daily

·         Disseminate NSA/UAI paperwork to the appropriate PAS Specialist and billing persons

·         Make and/or answer calls inquiring about PAS program – utilize referral sheet

·         Coach potential participants (Employers) on how to navigate application for Medicaid and what to expect once qualified

·         Main contact with Health &Welfare regarding missing NSA/UAI, new consumer paperwork and other various questions as needed

·         Track and maintain accurate data entry

Program Educator

·         Provide new Personal Assistant (PA) Orientation trainings in Boise and Caldwell offices

·         Provide Annual mandatory training for current LINC PAs

·         Assist PAs in filling out appropriate new hire paperwork and making sure it is filled out correctly and disseminating to appropriate staff member after completion

·         Provide excellent training on how to fill out timesheet and tasks on timesheet based on care plan of Employer/Consumer

·         Schedule with LINC RN for coordination of PA orientation training dates/times in Boise and Caldwell offices

·         Become an expert at the Health & Welfare Criminal History background check process and website and Idaho State Police background checks.

·         Provide additional trainings for Personal Assistants and the community such as resource fairs and networking opportunities.

 

 

Customer Service

·         Create an environment where team members can contribute their best work through providing a  positive, helpful, and courteous experience in all interactions with LINC

·         Help promote a positive relationship between community members and LINC team members

·         Demonstrate quality customer service while addressing participant inquires over the phone and in person

·         Direct community member inquiries and questions to the appropriate team member in a timely, accurate, and considerate manner according to LINC policy and program procedures

·         Work closely with all LINC team members to provide a quality participant experience across programs

 

Other Duties

·         Have good knowledge of all LINC programs and services to provide information and referral services

·         Maintain a positive and open dialogue with team members and Supervisors

·         Must have a working knowledge of computers and computer programs as job duties require

·         Have good knowledge of Health and Welfare appropriate policies, such as Adult Protection and Mental Health Guidelines

·         All other duties as assigned by supervisors
