Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Relations Specialist

 

Hours: 40 hours per week                                                                Pay Range: $14.42 - $18.27

 

Position Objective

The PAS Relations Specialist is the point of contact for all PAs, Employers and Consumers. The PAS Relations Specialist is an expert of each person’s care plan and has a good understanding of PAs to be able to enhance their ability to self-direct successfully. The PAS Relations Specialist is knowledgeable about LINC PAS policies and procedures as they directly affect either PA, Employer or Consumer and is relays all information accurately and tailored to the communication style of the individual. The PAS Relations Specialist will contribute to a positive working environment by providing meticulous attention to detail, a readiness to help others (in and outside of the office), and a willingness to do what needs to be done. The PAS Relations Specialist will have a strong commitment to LINC’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

The duties include but not necessarily limited to:

 

·         Manage employer care

o   Understand unique needs/wants of each employer

o   Complete plan of care with employer to support assessment findings

o   Maintain black binder and Wizard files

o   Maintain/update orders as needed

·         Manage PA coordination

o   Understand the unique personality of PA (strengths and weaknesses)

o   Provide options via the PA registry

o   Maintain/Update PA paper and Wizard files

·         Manage Quality Assurance for PAs/Employer/Consumer

o   Quarterly phone calls to Employer/Consumer

o   Red binder Checks

o   Follow up with PA/Employer/Consumer about timesheet tasks and proper completion of timesheet

o   Home Visits to conduct assessment of PA for follow proper procedures/care plan

·         Assist billing department with timesheet education and address issues prior to submission

·         Yearly Audits on Black Binders, PA files and Wizard files

·         Phone calls and letters of termination to Employers/Consumers

·         Provide outreach at various events, include tabling a booth or speaking with various referral sources in the community, as needed

 

Customer Service

·         Create an environment where team members can contribute their best work through providing a  positive, helpful, and courteous experience in all interactions with LINC

·         Help promote a positive relationship between personal assistants, employers, and LINC staff

·         Work closely with all LINC team members to provide a quality participant experience across programs

 

Other Duties

·         Have good knowledge of all LINC programs and services to provide information and referral services

·         Maintain a positive and open dialogue with PAS team members and supervisors concerning PAS program

·         Must have a working knowledge of computers and computer programs as job duties require

·         All other duties as assigned by supervisors
